Canadian gaming company donates to the national charity

February 22, 2017 - Canadian gaming company SBG - Skill Based Games Inc. (SBG) and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Canada announced today the next phase of their partnership that will have SBG contribute a minimum of $100,000 in 2018 to MADD Canada and its mission to support the victims of impaired driving.

SBG, the distributors of GotSkill? video skill games, will not only be giving a percentage of their revenue to MADD Canada, but will offer game players the opportunity to donate a portion or all of their winnings to the charity. The MADD Canada logo and message are also prominently displayed with all games; on bar-tops/cabinets and on the GotSkill? website.

“This is a great partnership that has us providing an important public service for a good cause,” says Tony Carvalho, president of GotSkill?. “We are proud to become an Official Sponsor of MADD Canada. It’s significant that we have our games profiling this organization and raising the awareness of impaired driving in entertainment and drinking establishments.”

“There is also the financial support for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Not only are we donating directly to this worthy cause, players can donate their winnings to it as well,” says Carvalho.

“We are very pleased to be partnering with SBG and have MADD Canada featured on its GotSkill? games,” says Andrew Murie, CEO of MADD Canada. “SBG has provided us important exposure in establishments where we hope people will be consuming alcohol responsibly.”
