New video game GotSkill? introduced for Ontario bars and restaurants

Carvalho: “There’s a new game in town”

May 1, 2015 – SBG - Skill Based Games Inc. (SBG) of Woodbridge Ontario is launching new skill-based video games to place in hospitality establishments across the province. GotSkill? are unique, skill-based video games that are housed in attractive floor cabinets, bar-top units, and portable tablets.

President Tony Carvalho is very excited about the games and the potential for them to flourish in Ontario’s hospitality market such as pubs, bars and entertainment establishments. “These are fun games that test a person’s skills, making them both entertaining and challenging. People actively play GotSkill?, which makes them something different than other passive games.”

“Establishments that carry the GotSkill? video skill games will draw new customers to their business, and their regular customers will have reason to stay longer,” says Carvalho.

The president mentioned the first step for the company is to tour the province to tell both owners of establishments and the public about the skill-based video games. “We want owners to know about the benefits of the games and how easy it is to have a floor model or bar-top unit installed. We also want people to know how much fun these games can be.”

“So, in the months ahead, we’re spreading the news that there's “a new game in town,”” and Carvalho adds, “People are tired of Leader boards -- they want to win prizes and cash.”

On June 26, SBG will be hosting a launch party and tournament for GotSkill? at Pr1mo Sports Lounge in Woodbridge. On July 2, a launch event is being held at the Niblick Pub in the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre, and the following evening, there is another launch party planned at the Black Bull Neighbourhood Pub in Burlington.
